for May 2021<p>Well I though I would not have any new beers at all this month, I was getting sick of all the very cloudy, very hoppy, very poor new beers that I have been getting by post over this lockdown. </p><p>In the end though I ordered some more beers, from a Scottish brewer on the Isle of Skye and although they looked good online, I have had some pretty poor Scottish beers in the past. </p><p>Well as I work my way through them, they are surprisingly nice up until now, I do still have a few more to go (I did buy all the different beers they do) but up until now I am very pleased indeed. </p><p>The brewer is the, Isle of Skye Brewing Co.</p><p><b>Isle of Skye, Skye Gold from Scotland</b></p><a data-flickr-embed="true" We had just got back from our birthdays away last year and went into Lock Down. We have used the van for a few days in September but that is it and it is off the road now having failed its MOT,</p><p>Anyway after moaning about about the beers I have been drinking for the last few months, a batch of German beers I got where very nice. here is the review of the first three.<script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script></p><p><b>And Union, Wednesday Wheat Beer from Germany</b></p><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51008695312/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Wednesday Wheat Beer, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Wednesday Wheat Beer, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51008695312_5fa39bd94f_n.jpg" width="228" /></a> <script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51008594231/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Wednesday Wheat Beer, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Wednesday Wheat Beer, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51008594231_69863768a2_n.jpg" width="240" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><div><br /></div><div>5.0% gold in colour with a good head, a sweet fruity aroma and it had a nice fruity wheat beer taste.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>And Union, Dark Lager from Germany</b></div><div><b><br /></b></div><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51028293168/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Dark Lager, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Dark Lager, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51028293168_5eaf38b5f6_n.jpg" width="240" /></a> <script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51028982133/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Dark Lager, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Dark Lager, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51028982133_919a0257b3_n.jpg" width="240" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><div><br /></div><div>5.0% ruby red in colour with a thin head, not much aroma but a nice fruity taste. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>And Union, Friday IPA from Germany</b></div><div><b><br /></b></div><div><b><br /></b></div><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51007894218/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Friday IPA, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Friday IPA, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51007894218_c7df188c24_n.jpg" width="240" /></a> <script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/ralph-dot/51008598891/in/photostream/" title="And Union, Friday IPA, Germany"><img alt="And Union, Friday IPA, Germany" height="320" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51008598891_3e370c4945_n.jpg" width="240" /></a><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script><div><br /></div><div>6.5% slightly hazy amber in colour with a good head, it had a malt and hop aroma, the taste was a good old IPA taste, very nice.</div>ralph-dothttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05498757213544280798noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2653587235163982146.post-49064358912371574082021-03-10T15:03:00.000+00:002021-03-10T15:03:10.082+00:00The rest from February, 2021 <p>Even beers from Belgium have not been very good lately. Maybe its just because I have not been out of the house for more than a quick walk in months. Maybe things will get better when we do get out and go to the pub.
