At the beginning of this, 279 posts ago, I wrote that I do not have the ability to describe all the various tastes, I just know what I like and if I do ever acquire a better ability, I will add to the descriptions.
Well that didn't happen and after my stroke I an even worse that I was before, but never mind, I will just keep on posting the beers with a poor description. So here are a few of the missing beers from the last couple of weeks, with my poor descriptions.
Wychwood, Pile Driver from England
4.3% amber colour with a thin head, a nice toffee aroma and a bitter caramel taste. Named for Status Quo.
Shepherd Neame, Atticus Lager from England
4.8% gold colour with a very thin head, tasted better than usual lagers.
Adnams, Southwold Jack Brand Crystal Rye IPA from England
5.0% pale amber colour with a thin head, not much aroma but a very hoppy taste.
Leeds Brewery, Pale Ale from England
5.2% gold colour with a good head, sweet fruity aroma, slightly fizzy but fruity bitter taste.
Leeds Brewery, Midnight Bell from England
4.8% dark brown in colour with a good head, malty aroma, taste has some vanilla to it, not bad.
If by some very strange reason I get better at this I will let you all know, but for now its all about the photos.

Beers from our trip to Harrogate.
Not done this for a while again and I do not know why, I am still having new beers.
Well we have been away to Harrogate for a long weekend and although we didn't have many new beers we did have some. So here are the beers I had.
Wickwar, Station Porter from England
6.1% very dark in colour with a good head, it had a nice aroma and taste, I did not know it was this strong when I bought it but it was very nice indeed.
Caledonian, Golden XPA from Scotland
4.3% gold colour with a nice head, it had a bitter hoppy aroma and taste, it wasn't too bad but I only had the one and moved on to another beer.
I did have other beers but I have covered them all before, I did however buy plenty of new bottles and will cover them when we drink them.
