Marston's Pedigree, has always been a good beer but over the last ten years it has changed many times. Although it is still a good beer it is annoying that they can not just leave well alone. There are also other beers that have been named Marston's Pedigree but with a different styles, I will not go on moaning, just show them here.
Marston's, Pedigree Amber Ale from England
4.5% dark amber with a good head, aroma is all malt with a malt and toffee taste, a good reliable beer. Now called Amber Ale, I do not know what they are doing.
Marston's, Pedigree Classic English Pale Ale from England
5.0% deep amber with a thin head, aroma is malt, taste is malt, liquorice and toffee with a sweet aftertaste of refreshers.
Marston's, Pedigree Exceptional Pale Ale from England
4.5% dark amber with a good head, aroma is all malt with a malt and toffee taste, a good reliable beer
And then there are the others,
Marston's, Pedigree Diamond from England
5.0% deep gold colour with a nice head, citrus hop aroma, slightly sweet buttery malt taste.
Marston's, Pedigree Pale Ale from England
5.0% amber colour with a thin head, malt aroma, caramel malt taste, nice.
Marston's, Pedigree V.S.O.P from England
6.7% gold in colour with a nice head, fruity aroma and a fruity malt taste, not bad at all.
There are more but this is all that I have had.
