Well as I said in the last post, Innis & Gunn has not been covered on here before, so here we go. I will cover the four main beers brewed by Innis & Gunn and may continue onto some of the Limited editions they do. Innis & Gunn is a fairly new brewer and only started in 2003, it is also Scottish and I love their beers.
Innis & Gunn, Original from Scotland
6.6%, oak aged beer, light amber in colour with a thin head, slight hop aroma, fairly sweet malt and caramel even butter flavour, very nice indeed. This is the old label but I thought it would do.
Innis & Gunn, Blood Red Sky from Scotland
6.8% deep amber to red in colour with a thin head, there is a sweet hint of rum in the aroma and the taste is slightly sweet but nice rum flavor. I bought this one in a supermarket in France.
Innis & Gun, Gunnpowder IPA from Scotland
5.6% gold in colour with a thin head, it had a citrus hop aroma and a similar taste. Also bought and drank this one in France.
Innis & Gunn, Lager Beer from Scotland
4.6% gold colour with a thin head, slightly sweet aroma and a descent lager taste.
Now what others have I had.
Innis & Gunn, Bourbon Barrel Porter from Scotland
7.4% dark brown in colour with a thin head, caramel and roast malt aroma, some whiskey and malt in the taste.
Innis & Gunn, Scottish Pale Ale from Scotland
7.0% gold in colour with a good head, a fruity aroma and a mild vanilla taste.
Innis & Gunn, American Oak Pale Ale from Scotland
4.4% gold colour with a thin head, some oak in the aroma, not much different in the taste.
There are a couple of fruit beers from them that I covered in another blog, Some Fruit Beers
