Continuing the write up of the draught beer from our holiday away in Warwick. All of theses are from the same pub, just outside the town walls. The Old Post office bar is fantastic, opens at twelve and closes about eight or nine, just enough time for us to drink. We went in there on about three or four nights while we were there. I could not get photos of the pumps but the landlord passed the pump labels to me.
Crouch Vale, Brewers Gold from England
4.0% gold colour with a nice head, low in aroma but hight in taste, I got honey, vanilla and some hops.
Slaughterhouse, Saddleback from England
3.8% amber colour with a nice head, quite an ordinary bitter, which is very refreshing after all these hoppy beers lately.
Slaughterhouse, Space Trotter from England
4.3% amber in colour with a nice head, fruity aroma and slightly sweet malt taste, not a bad beer at all.
Merry Monkey, Scrumpy
4.5% ordered this by accident, only drank half and gave the rest to Dot.
I am sure I had more than this but I may have missed them from the camera, well any excuse to go back.
