Well did pretty poor over Christmas for trying beers this year but this is all I came across on a fairly quiet time for me. Anyway hope you all had a very good Christmas.
Hardys & Hansons, Rocking Rudolph from England
4.2% deep amber in colour with a good head, a nice malty aroma and a bit of a Christmas taste.
Sadler's, Reigndeer from England
5.0% amber colour with a thin head, fruity Christmas aroma, slightly fizzy bitter taste,
Brass Castle, Christmas Kitty from England
5.5% black in colour with a good head, Christmas pud / cake aroma with a mild bitter taste not quite as good as the aroma.
West Berkshire, Yule Fuel, England
5.0% dark brown in colour with a nice head, malty aroma, slight Christmas taste but not bad. I had this one well after Christmas but it was ok.
Good Job on trying Christmas Beers.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to try any Special Christmas beers, but had a good Year of different Beers. I need to get a total for 2015 new beers
I had a bit of a poor year
