Well we are still here, the new beers are running low but I have ordered some more from the net. I did have one order not turn up, they had run out of beers but never thought to let people know. I did get my money back from them though but only after I complained that it hasn't turned up.
So I have slowed down the drinking of new beers, I think it could be a good thing though, as I am mainly drinking good beers now.
As for this lockdown, I actually went out in the car last week, we drove to ASDA, picked up a Click and Collect and drove home. I do not know how to put up with the excitement. Anyway the beers for early May are,
Naparbier, ZZ Amber Ale from Spain
5.5% cloudy light amber in colour with a thin head, a very hoppy aroma and taste, half went down the drain.
Buxton, Buxton SPA from England
4.1% hazy gold in colour with a thin head, a citrus hop aroma and taste.
Saison, Saison Dupont from Belgium
6.5% hazy gold in colour with a thin head, sweet aroma, the taste was sweet hops.
Vibrant Forest, Kaleidoscope from England
6.5% hazy amber in colour with a poor head, a fruity aroma and a bitter fruity hop taste, there was however a lot of yeast in the bottle and glass.
