Well its time for the Christmas beers again, not got many this year as, I didn't get out much at all to the pubs and the shops were pretty poor with their selections.

5.5% gold in colour with a thin head, normal lager but with a slight Christmas taste, not bad at all and in a nice bottle.
Brakspear, Hoppy Holiday from England
4.0% gold in colour (or very pale amber) with a nice head, with a bitter hop aroma, there is a slight Christmasness to the taste but also lots of hops, although not too much.
Shepherd Neame, Master Brewer's Choice Rudolph's Reward from England
3,8% pale amber colour with a poor head, not very Christmassy in aroma or taste but drinkable.
Hatherwood, The Winter Warmer from England
5.5% amber in colour with a thin head, it had a bitter aroma and a slight Christmas taste.
Samuel Smith's, Winter Welcome Ale 2016/2017 from England
6.0% deep amber in colour with a nice head, fruity malt aroma, slightly bitter malt, caramel, fruit and hops taste, really nice.
If you know me or of me, you will know I like beer. Over the last few years I have been collecting photos of every new beer I have.
I now have over 2,000 individual beers photographed and have realised that many beers that I assumed I have photos of, I haven't.

This blog will be therefore be an account of my quest for new beers to photo and how I enjoyed them (or not).
